There is huge excitement around the reimagining and expansion of Gorgie Community Farm’s herb & medicinal garden in partnership with Napiers the Herbalists. The design is well under way, incorporating the existing structures of the old herb garden and expanding into a further section, with a focus on historical herbs grown by founder Duncan Napier.
Arjun, from Napiers, says “Through this partnership, Napiers hopes to contribute expertise in herbal education, community health, workshops, and volunteer support. We’re also excited about future opportunities to develop gardening and wellbeing projects that help people reconnect with nature and learn practical skills they can take into their daily lives.” In turn, Gorgie Community Farm will bring shared ownership and learning, adding to our ability to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and able to contribute.
We recently spoke with That’s TV Lothian about our partnership, check out the interviews below and follow us across our socials to keep up with progress as plans take shape!
